<Introduction>Welcome to TextAloud MP3. TextAloud MP3 lets you listen to text you caw
pee to the clipboard. It uses 'Text to Speech' technology to synthesize natural sounding
speech from ordinary text. Just copy text to the clip board and listen as TextAloud MP3
reads it back to you ! TextAloud MP3 also gives you the option of writing text to audio files,
so you can listen later. You can create ordinary wav files, or better yet,

<About Single Article Mode>In Single Article Mode, TextAloud will store and read only one article at a time. Use
Single Article Mode to have TextAloud monitor your windows clipboard,
and automatically read any text. In this mode, if you highlight text in a web page, email, or document, then hit Control C, or
doo Edit, Copy , from the programs windows menu, TextAloud will automatically begin reading the highlighted text.

<About Multi Article Mode>In Multi article mode, TextAloud allows you to store many different text articles. These articles can be emails,
web pages, or different text from documents. With each individual article you can specify a different voice and title. Once you have several articles stored,
click the Read Aloud toolbar button to listen to your articles, much like listening to a personal newscast. Or click the Read to File button to have all articles stored in wave or mp3 files.

<About Voices>Text To Speech engines are currently available from several vendors,
but the only engine currently supported by TextAloud MP3 is the one from Microsoft. There are
three voices available with this engine, they are named Sam, Mike, and Mary. You can tell which voices you have installed,
by checking the Favorite Voices panel on the main window. Only the Mary voice is installed with TextAloud MP3,
to download and install other voices, visit the NextUp site, or click the blue link which should appear in the Favorite Voices panel. To tailor voices to your personal taste,
select the Voice Edit menu, which allows you to edit Pitch and Speed for each voice. The default voice is set on the miscellaneous options panel.</About Voices>
